At Oasis, we recognise that parenting a child with special needs can be a very challenging experience. One of our aims is to help alleviate some of this pressure. The Day Centres focus on giving all the children in our care the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. We also provide a range of additional support and development services including meals, transport and social work type assistance.
Also on offer is a LSEN class (Learners with Special Needs) for children who are recognised to have potential beyond the Day Centre programme.
We have two Oasis Day Centres, one in Ravensmead and another in Delft. These Day Centres provide specialised skills development, and care programmes for 85 children with severe or profound intellectual disabilities. Many children in our Day Centres have associated conditions such as cerebral palsy, visual impairment, auditory or physical disabilities, epilepsy, and behavioural challenges. We accept children into the programme from two to 18 years of age.
